Castlewood Canyon State Park

Since I've moved back to CO I've been a lot more independent.

My days off of work are Sundays and Mondays.
Considering this is past the "standard" days off, I generally have Mondays to myself.

I must admit...I'm LOVING it.:o)

So, I've been doing a lot of exploring and hiking!
I was told that there are some historic parts to explore at Castlewood Canyon; which promoted excitement within me. I had to investigate!

I found an old dam, on my adventure, but sadly I did not get good pictures of it.
I did, however, get some pictures of my quest toward it.

I've been experimenting with my photography. I read that a trick to good macro pictures is to, literally, remove the lens from your camera base and focus through it...
That actually didn't work out too well, for me, considering your lens needs to be connected to your base to auto focus.
However, I does work well for blurry pictures. And I kinda like it.
Let me know what you think. Can y'all even make out what the blurry pictures are?

Pictures of my adventure to Red Rocks coming soon.

I have never read the book, but I appreciate this quote.
